Hyperlink Like A Pro



 Hyperlink Like A Pro

1.     On Microsoft Word, add a picture (something that represents the topic) and hyperlink it to the following topics.
a.     The Urbana City Schools Website.
b.     The Urbana Junior High Website.
c.      The Urbana Athletic Department Website.
d.     The Urbana Football Website. 
2.     Create a PowerPoint Presentation using the same pictures and link them to the same websites. 
3.     After linking to the websites, please put forward and backwards arrows on each of the slides. 
4.     At the end of the slide show presentation add a picture that says, “Start Over” and link it to slide 1. 
5.     Save both documents in the Junior High Tech Files as Hyperlink Like A Pro Word and Your Name and Hyperlink Like A Pro PowerPoint and Your Name. 
6.     At the bottom of each of the documents, provide a link that will take you to the other document.

8. Look up the story titled, “Winners and losers from the second presidential debate” in the Washington Post (WashingtonPost.com).  Just by reading the subtitles, who do they say won the debate? 

9. List each of the subtitles from the Washington Post story in order.  Including Winner and Losers. 

10.  Now search the story titled, “Who won the debate? Oddsmakers weigh in,” on the Washington Post.  From the story’s title, was there a clear winner from last nights debate? 

11.  Lastly, type me two or three sentences telling me what you plan to do with your 4 day weekend.

  3. Find an article from Fox News over the upcoming Presidential Debate. Copy and Paste the articles title and the writer’s name.
  4. Who was the first person to say, “there is nothing to fear but fear itself”?  Hint he was a president. 
  5. Who gave the speech later called, We Shall Fight on the Beaches?  What is he describing? 
  6. What book did Niccolo Machiavelli write? What was the last chapter of his book titled?

Slide 1- Create an appealing Cover Page with an image, your name, and Dream Manager Project. 
Slide 2- Find a quote about dreams & add a few pictures.  Please list the author of the quote. 
Slide 3- Set up our Table of Contents. Then List Sections of Dream Manager Project as Dreams, Plan for Success, and Reflection. 

Dream Slides: For each of your dreams you should have a slide with Your Dream and a Picture to remind you of your dream.  Each dream slide will be followed by a Plan for Success Slide. 
1.  Start with two or three of your favorite and most beneficial long term dreams (5 years or more). 
2.  After each of your slides please write a Plan for Success: Include: A. How you plan to accomplish your dream.  B. something you are willing to give up in order to accomplish your dream.
